To live as though we are to become our own personal legend. Not as ego, but as our highest aspirations that our endeavors might take us and others.
We are meant to live as though we have already arrived in heaven, with our surroundings in divine order… and if they are not, we are to rectify in short order.
To further explore it’s true meaning both internally and how we impact our environment and world. To further become one with the Tao. What even the Jesuits called God. Appreciating that we, I, am already in what the Taoist calls lower heaven as I make the eternal pivot in my final years. Looking to Chuang Tzu we have followed the last few weeks and many others, in the coming year we each must become more of a beacon of light, even accepting our role as a portal if necessary.
Finding tranquility in the action of non-action – transcending the division between activity and contemplation by furthering a union with the nameless and invisible Tao. To forget the idea that you have or know all the right answers. As we mirror cosmic humility realizing our own nothingness and becoming totally forgetful of ourselves.
To become more ubiquitous – rooted in the true nature of things while full of life and awareness. Responding to the vibrations and needs of nature to the vitality/joy of all. To rise above or transcend humanness ego and see the universality of nature, seeing beyond self-interest. Finding and living as the peace within us, the Tao, and the ten thousand things.
To make the pivot – to invest totally and fully in the Tao, knowing that self-cultivation must precede all external action. To acknowledge and remember who we are in and to history.
To not be obsessed with or by what we/I am not. With self-awareness to increase and perfect… Chuang Tzu reminds us that happiness can only be found by non-seeking and non-action.
Knowing that happiness can be found everywhere… this is true freedom. To learn to act with such freedom from care that all action is perfect joy, because without joy, one cannot really find happiness in anything.
Our wisdom is to accompany everything and welcome everything and everything is in the course of being constructed and in the course of being destroyed. The crux of it is beyond words, to who we are and what we are here to do. To evolve and pivot continually as a beacon of light – unhinged to the status quo.
As we open our eyes to change to what should define our role in the present. While we are to be working on the meaning of gratitude in our lives. To be grateful to the universe for being able to express our inner most essence to the world as we look to a new year.
