A new year… new beginnings. Looking back to our footsteps that led us to today and how we lay the foundation looking forward. Coming forward with love of nature in our hearts knowing it lies in our hands to preserve and protect. Our gardens are simply the extension of how we see ourselves. Our inner spirit speaking to our highest aspirations as an expression of virtue that speaks to the eternal. For myself, it is as though we live in duality, a parallel universe that expresses our highest aspiration. Never settling for a status quo that does not speak to who we are yet to become. In doing this we look to our mentors who are speaking to us.
We set the stage for this through first understanding how to listen to the virtue that begins and resides within us. Why meditation and prayer are so essential to our growth. What it is that defines us going forwards. This becomes a dual tract of how we reach out to the vibrations that are universal in nature that speak both to and for us, and to others… all things found in nature. Our aids are everywhere all the time. What becomes important is are we listening and that we do no harm to ourselves or others. The way of virtue first acknowledges that we are but one of ten thousand things as the ancients have always told us. Ultimately, when we are listening to this highest calling it is us who speaks for the universe.
We begin the year by having our gardens speak for us and what inspires us to follow our highest endeavor. Looking both to the outer world and how we live and act as simple virtue – not expressed as politics or religion, and to our inner spirit of who we are yet to become that guides us.
