April fools… no the wild onions are still there.

I’m still digging up wild onions in front yard they just seem to get worse every year. My front yard is a mess. Flowers look great, but what should serve as grass is everything but grass. I’m considering just going native… Between this lime green weeds that inches everything out, the moles, the wild onions, and other weeds too numerous to mention it’s a mess. Or maybe just plant more flowers. We pick up the lawn mower this morning, maybe after I mow, I’ll feel better.

I got my strawberries planted yesterday and finished preparing beds there on southeast corner. We’re taking yard waste to recycling this morning first and picking up mower. I need to work on transplanting tomatoes I’m undecided as to how many I’ll do. Also inventory what I’ve sent for labels to make sure I didn’t leave out a tray or two.

I often start out with thinking about the next three things needing done and then maybe getting to two of them. Like everyone, I am anxious to get things out in the ground, but weather is so unpredictable, and I’m reminded that the last freeze date in April 20.
