As several of you know, I have been recovering from emergency surgery at St Mary’s hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida. My family and I were on vacation visiting my daughter Emily and friends in South Florida. We especially wanted to visit with Reverend Nancy Norman at Unity of Delray Beach, who is retiring this month..
I am back home in Springfield facing a long recovery. Fortunately my daughter Katie has taken up the role of my caregiver and I am in good . hands. I suffered a blockage due the actual death of portions of my colon and intestines. The trauma surgeon, Mario Rueda, who after four hours of surgery, literally has given me anther opportunity to live and “get it right”. For as Dr. Rueda expressed, to find my purpose, or if I have an idea of what that is, to move more fully in the direction of what that is I am here to do. In other words it was like a wake up call.
Continuing here on my website and facebook will follow as my health improves.
